This site provides the music portfolio pieces of Ricky Chaggar, as part of his part-time PhD in Music at Anglia Ruskin University. The PhD explores the use of instrumental music composition techniques for communicating scientific topics and studies. He is expected to complete the PhD in Spring 2024.

​Each piece was presented as a music installation at the Cavendish Laboratory's Science Festival exhibitions at the University of Cambridge. The festivals were open to the public and each installation consisted of an interactive screen of music and accessible programme notes. This enabled visitors to listen to the music and learn about some key aspects of the science, which the music sought to communicate.

The interactive screens have been preserved as websites and are available for all to access from the menu above. The date indicates the time of completion and the year of the festival exhibit.
